IV Sedation for Dentistry (also called Sleep Dentistry, Sedation Dentistry, Conscious Sedation or Twilight Sedation) is the most advanced form of dental sedation. It uses a combination of sedative and pain relieving drugs given intravenously to create a dream-like state of deep, calming relaxation for the entire duration of your dental procedure. You close your eyes with deep relaxation and sleep your way through your procedure (no matter how lengthy or complex) without any awareness, anxiety, memory, pain or discomfort. Our patients go home in a state of relaxation, in disbelief that their procedure was actually done!
