Wisdom Teeth Removal:

Wisdom Teeth Removal

The most common oral surgical procedure is the removal of wisdom teeth. Around our late teens or early twenties, our wisdom teeth (or third molars) begin to erupt. In many cases, however, the jaw is not large enough to accommodate them and they become impacted, remaining either fully or partially under the gum. Impacted teeth can cause several further complications including infection, crowding, damage to adjacent teeth, cysts, and other diseases. It is sometimes sensible to remove problematic wisdom teeth before symptoms or complications arise.

Many other dental practices rely on us for the management of their patient's problematic and impacted wisdom teeth and other oral surgery needs. You receive an expert, completely pain-free experience whilst resting assured of our unique skills and set-up in this special area of dental surgery.

Dental Implant Surgery

Our practice provides an advanced and unique approach to dental implant treatment

Dental Implants are artificial teeth secured in the jaw that look, function and feel like natural teeth. Implants can be used to replace a single missing tooth, badly damaged teeth, unsightly and annoying partial dentures/bridgework, or for a full mouth reconstruction. Modern implant therapy is often the best solution to give you back something to eat with and smile about. Implant Dentistry gives you a new lease on life. In some more involved cases of dental implant restoration, an augmentation or grafting procedure may be required to prepare the mouth and jaws for implants, or to give the gums around implants a natural appearance.

Our Unique Approach to Oral Surgery

Oral Surgery

The anxiety that often surrounds oral surgery is understandable, especially wisdom teeth extraction, but with Dr. Misagh Habibi’s care you can rest assured of a skilled, gentle and compassionate approach. To make the procedure and stress-free for you, we often recommend that oral surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth removal be performed with the aid of Sleep Dentistry sedation techniques.

Oral Surgery

That way you can snooze through the whole thing and not be aware of the injections and surgery being performed in the mouth. Now and then, extremely complicated cases are referred out for management by an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at a hospital. To make a wisdom tooth, dental implant or oral surgery consultation with Dr Habibi, you will need a special X-ray of the

jaws called an OPG, which we can refer you for if you haven't already had one taken. For more involved cases we refer you for special 3-D imaging of your jaws in order to best plan your surgery.Dr Habibi utilises world leading technology to virtually plan complex surgeries to ensure the best results. He will discuss your particular situation and needs with you, including your options of anaesthesia and Sleep Dentistry. All patients receive a full itemised treatment plan including estimated fees.
